Madden NFL 10 (iPhone)
Great fun, Played half a game at lunchtime as the Texans and ended up 7-0 up at half time. Excellent. I felt like I earned those points.
However, this horrible screen popped up as soon as the whistle blew.
I don’t like in-game advertising at the best of times, but a whole screen that’s not even relevant outside the US? Oh dear.
Hey, at least it’s not video though, I suppose…

Thought I’d try out the Endurance mode today. It is aptly named. I think I got through 37 waves before I finally died, just before losing the will to live. Not that it’s a bad game – far from it, it’s excellent – but I really think it’s better suited to the shorter play sessions

Since working out that there’s a combo system I’ve been enjoying this even more than I was before – and I’ve even got a gold on the second challenge. Some of the best moments, though, are when you fail. The tackles can be excellent.
