I bought this very game for my Sega Master System when I was in my second year of my degree. I wrote down the level codes as I went along… then finished the game the day I got it. So I carefully snipped the page of the manual I’d scrawled the codes on and took the game back to Our Price on Broad Street and they gave me a refund.

Slightly underhanded, that was.

You utter, utter bastard, Prince.

Anyway, the iPhone version may be the same game with different graphics – it’s so long ago that any differences are invisible to me – but I just can’t get used to the iPhone controls and keep missing jumps and getting very frustrated.

Deleted, yes.

Basically, a console version of Gameloft’s mobile Prince of Persia games.

And I’m stuck. I’m on the third or fourth level. There’s a fight I’e only ever got past twice, followed by a secion of level that only seems to lead to dead ends.

Total time spent playing was probably around an hour. That’s all right for £1.50, I reckon.

Well, Gameloft sent me a text message yesterday offering me The Two Thrones for £1.50, so how could I refuse? Didn’t play it yesterday, but started it up on the bus this morning. It’s very similar to The Warrior Within, in that it’s a 2D platformer with context-sensitive special moves, such as wall running, and button-bashing combat. It’s a good time-waster, though it probably won’t last long.
