Final Fantasy I
Gah.
There’s another boss on the same floor of the dungeon. He’s got lovely “kill outright in one hit” attacks. How charming.
So that’s two bosses on one floor that I can’t kill.
Talk about a difficulty spike. It’d been incredibly easy until now and – bam!
This may even be a game-killing spike. We’ll see.

Nononononono, the Earth bosses are fine – as long as you’re stocking up on potions and doing plenty of random encounters….. Try spending sometime in the Hellfire Chasm – that’s a quick way of levelling up a bit.
You certainly shouldn’t be encountering anything with a one hit kill in the elemental dungeons, though.

This other Boss has Earthquake and Death, both of which are one-hit-kill attacks.
I’m level thirty and all the surrounding enemies are piss easy, so I wouldn’t expect the bosses to be this hard.
And Hellfire Chasm? Wha’?
