Trivial Pursuit (360)
May 8th
Two more games last night. It’s not important who won. (My wife won both of them.)
New questions pack came out last night. I have heard it’s free on the PS3, but they want 400 points for it on the 360. I would probably buy it anyway, but I only have 350 points, so, no. I’m adding 500 points when I only need fifty. No way.
Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City (Wii)
May 8th
So, last night, I played Animal Crossing and I, er, um, nope I’ve got nothin’. I talked to some animals, definitely. Um… that’s it.
Trivial Pursuit (360)
May 7th
Three more games and it’s still not repeating questions yet. Fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer, because it’s excellent fun.
Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City (Wii)
May 7th
Played for a fair while last night. I caught a frog and sold him to Nook.
SingStar (PS3)
May 6th
Played enough of this last night to leave my throat broken. We got four new songs with some credit I had in my account. Minnie Ripperton’s Loving You, which was highly amusing. Sonny and Cher’s I’ve Got You Babe, which was awesome to sing with my wife. (We don’t have a pot! I have long hair! It’s our song!) And I can’t, right now, remember the other two, but they were great. Oh, Blue Bayou by Roy Orbison, which I did really well on considering I didn’t know it. And the final song was… was… nope, can’t remember. Oh, yes, I can. It was Girl Put Your Records On. I’m glad I remembered that.
Anyway, I’m torn between Pull Shapes and Total Eclipse of the Heart for a favourite. Got our best score ever on the latter and would probably have done even better if I hadn’t had a coughing fit halfway through.
Trivial Pursuit (360)
May 6th
Two more games last night, still haven’t run out of questions. Some are insanely easy, the Bollywood ones are all guesses for me, but the question difficulty generally seems very good. If you want a Trivial Pursuit game on a console, this will definitely full your needs.
Plants Vs Zombies (PC/Mac)
May 6th
Yeah, I’m playing on both operating systems. Doesn’t seem to be much between them, though the Mac version has crashed a couple of times for me.
Anyway, this is the new sensation sweeping the nation (Internet), so I’m sure you know all about it. PopCap do tower defense, basically, though it’s different from any other TD game I’ve played. (You’re always actually playing – you don’t get to set up your defenses and then sit back and watch. If you’re not adding more plants, then you’re at least collecting sunlight.) It’s very polished and hugely addictive, but the story mode has been very, very easy so far. I’m up to level 5-8 and haven’t died yet. It’s getting harder, though, so I don’t think I’ll be able to complete the adventure without dying.
It’s not Peggle, by any means, but it’s very good.
Trivial Pursuit (360)
May 4th
Played a couple of games against my wife. It’s not important who lost and won. (But I won both of them.)
Noby Noby Boy (PS3)
May 4th
Played about for a bit between watching Mamma Mia and Hellboy 2 on Blu-Ray. Mamma Mia wasn’t… um… well, I’m not really the target audience. I’d probably enjoy the stage show more, I reckon. Hellboy 2 was really rather good, though I kept dozing off, because I’m very, very old. Noby Noby Boy was, as always, fun.
Pokemon Platinum (DS)
May 4th
I haven’t tried the gym again. Instead, I just wandered around a bit outside of town while my wife was on the phone, got my Psyduck up a level or two.
