Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)

Well, finally, after playing EVERY DAY for SEVEN MONTHS, I shot down a UFO.
And got given a rare “alien artefact” for my trouble.
I put that in quotes, because the “alien artefact” is a suit of armour which, while cool, doesn’t look very alien.

Sod it.
Forbert and his bloody mutant 120mm peacock butterfly can bloody go and win the tourny.
See if I care.

Not posted about this lately, but I’ve still played every day since I got it. Anywhere from five minutes to two hours, averaging about half or three-quarters of an hour a day, I guess.
That’s a lot of play time.

A 43.4″ sea bass is my entry in today’s fishing tourney.
Will it be enough?

I don’t like Deena.
She invited herself round, so I had to hang around for half an hour while she got herself ready. Then when she arrived she kept asking me if I like hamsters, refused to rate my room and left after about thirty seconds.
Bloody duck.

Ack.
Had terrible wifi trouble this evening. I went over to Vatican okay, but then the game got stuck on save screen when I left. Eventually I just had to turn off the DS because it wasn’t going anywhere and got Resetti shouting at me for my troubles.
Then P’anther tried coming to Venture, but after about five seconds we blue screened. We tried again, same deal. Then she tried opening her gates and couldn’t connected to Nintendo WFC for ages. When she finally did, when I tried to look for a list of open towns her game crashed as soon as I connected.
Not the best night, then.

Rubbish fishing today.
Hardly anything and what there was was tiny.
Ended up finally getting hold of a 47.5 inch sea bass, which is the current leader in today’s tournament.

Big Top tried to move out last night, so I asked him to say. Several times, until I got a “good” answer.
Started it up this morning to see if he’s unpacked, but he was asleep, so couldn’t check. Lazy bloody elephant.
Sahara was outside, so I gave Pelly a carpet to give to Phyllis, gave Blathers some wallpaper he’d ordered and then Sahara gave me some Meadow Vista wallpaper, which fits perfectly into my grass-floored room.
