Lego Star Wars (XBOX)

Just got a hankering to play this again. So I did.
I still haven’t unlocked the secret level. I don’t think I’m about to any time soon, either. I’m slowly earning enough to buy the invicibility cheat, which I’m going to need, but it’s very slow going.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2
Mar 10th
So, I was looking for games to trade in at Game tomorrow and came across Battlefront 2, which I’d got for Christmas and not played.
I’d put it on my Amazon wishlist because the online game sounded good, back when I had more faith in the 360′s backwards compatibility. Now I can only play it single player, but I thought I’d give it a go.
Just did training. Seemed pretty good, actually. A bit messy, not the best camera in the world and like all Xbox games (except OutRun 2) it looks rubbish on my TV, but it seems like a solid third-person shooter. And it’s got Star Wars graphics and noises, which is a good thing.
And I got to pay as Mace Windu and chop up droids with a lightsaber, which isn’t something I’m going to complain about.
Star Wars: Empire At War Demo

Oh.
I wasn’t paying attention and just got wiped out by an AT-AT.
I wasn’t expecting that.
Star Wars: Empire At War Demo
Jan 21st
Yep, I’m going through the demos and free downloads this weekend.
Anyway, I did the incredibly long tutorial for this new RTS and it seems like it might actually be quite good.
It doesn’t seem to be doing anything too new and it doesn’t look all that great but it seems to play smoothly and, well, you can be the Empire and go round blowing up rebel bases and slaughtering Jawas. The galactic strategy Interface looks a bit fiddly for those of us not sitting with our noses against the monitor, though.
Anyway, I suppose I should actually try playing the game part of the demo at some point, but that tutorial wore me out.
Difficult to judge RTS games quickly, anyway, I suppose. Should probably wait for some reviews.
