Call Of Duty 2
GAH!
What the…?
I thought something was odd when I started playing today and it had reset the y-axis to univerted, but I played through to the end of The Battle of El Alamein. But it didn’t give me the achievement for completing it and then dumped me back to the start of the Russian campaign.
I turned off the console and turned it back on and my save game is completely knackered. It’s showing The Battle of El Alamein as uncompleted and apparently I’ve done none of the Russian campaign. The Russian campaign that took me many, many hours and which I have achievements for, to show I finished it on the hardest difficulty level.
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid bloody game.

Hi. I got a similar problem as you with the game and it got me pretty down. I completed the whole game on easy setting, then as I finished the first british mission on hardened, I lost all my completion results but not my awards. So I won’t be able to get the completed game on hardened achievement without redoing the russian level but I can’t help but fear that after redoing them I will still loose my progress. Darn…

I just had the same thing happen. I had just completed the D-Day mission (Silo) on Veteran. It even shows it as complete. However, when selecting “Next Mission” it takes me back to Russian training.
D-Day shows “In progress” even though I have completed it. Both the coastal Guns mission and the Pointe mission no longer show as having been completed. However, the silo is showing as having been completed. I have 8 of the 13 achievements and have completed the game on easy and some on hardened.
When selecting Next Mission I get kicked back to Russian training.
