Snatch and Mayhem. The Snatch activity was very easy indeed – I only needed six “hos” for the final level and could take three at a time, but trying to do $500,000 worth of damage in Mayhem is proving tricky. Mainly because police cars keep running me over, to be fair.

I put about thirty hours in to this over a four-day New Year weekend. Let’s see what Achievements I got! (Spoilers abound.) Remind Me of the Babe – Defeated the Sons of Samedi – The first one was for defeating one of the gangs, the faux-voodoo Sons of Samedi. They were no trouble, really, despite

Immense fun, but I’m honestly having trouble remembering exactly how the time got filled last night. I think I just did all the stronghold missions I had available and then a couple of Hitman missions. Bought a place to store boats, so now I won’t have to spend too long looking for something to steal

Wow. Just come off a five and a half hour mega session of this while my poor jet-lagged wife slept beside me. Finished off the Vice Kings storyline, started and finished the Demolition Derby missions, bought some new jewellery, populated my garage a bit, that sort of thing. I’ve even been customising my cars, incredibly.

It seems the police aren’t overly bothered if you derail a train. Odd. Lots of fun this evening, but the side missions that have to be done between main missions are getting very tricky now.

Yes, its attempts to be cool and urban are teeth-grindingly awful. And its attempts to be funny are buttock-clenchingly horrible. It’s a GTA clone with none of the wit, imagination or intelligence of Rockstar’s masterpiece in terms of script or world. But at its core, on a base game level – physics, controls, interface, mission

I can hold up shops now. Good way to get cash. Cash for pipe bombs.
