Singstar ’80s (PS2)

Used up the final dregs of credit with the Playstation store to get some new songs. Then had fun singing them. Oddly, I did really well for the first few songs, then was worse than ever for the last few. I hardly hit a note in Total Eclipse of the Heart and the playback had

Got four new songs today, none of which I can sing. No surprises there. As well as those, my wife and I took it turns to choose songs to duet from our existing library and it was great until my voice cracked and died. Cough cough, like.

Played every song on the disc once last night (in Duet mode) and then downloaded seven (!) more from the SingStore, which we’ve not tried yet. I really wish I could actually sing. Or at least sing well enough for SingStar. Though I actually did okay on Feel Good Inc., No Surprises and Lovefool. And

It took a while, but I found my PS2 component cable, my two Singstar mics and – after a good long search – the little box that goes between the mics and the PS2. I took the blue mic and my better half took the red one. Several hours later we’d exhausted both Singstar Legends
