The good news is that the new level – a movie studio backlot – is really good. Much better than the Abusement Park level. I spent at least two hours playing the game today. It just eats time. I wish it felt a little more skill-based, though.

Why do I bother? I saw there was a new level for Pain, so I paid my £3.99 and waited while the 37MB downloaded and installed. Didn’t take too long, but when I started Pain it said I had to download another 211MB update before I could play the game. No choice, it was mandatory.

I didn’t so much play this as jab buttons while it was on the TV. Didn’t get any sort of score worth mentioning.

Tried out the new Amusement Park level quickly before work. Seems the log flume is the way to rack up the points, as you can keep moving for a long time. Didn’t get enough points to get any Trophies, though – if indeed there are any for this level.

Nothing to it, really. A single level with a few target variations. You fire your character into scaffolding, walls and exploding crates and that’s about it. It really, really needs more levels. Feels more like a demo than a game right now. Able to eat a surpisingly large amount of time, though.
