I advanced the story for the first time in months! Did the end-of-chapter level in Blazing Core, then did it again a couple of times. My ice mage lady, Emma, leveled up a lot and has now overtaken my cleric as my highest level character.
Exciting stuff, eh?

Another stupid name. The game works okay, but the graphics and music are terrible – and there are only nine songs in the full game – so there’s no way on earth I’m paying any money for it.

Stupid name, but not a terrible game from I played. Not a great one either, though. I had fun with the demo levels, but I can’t see myself ever paying 800 points for it. Maybe if I could work out which direction the spring traps would send an enemy it would be better.

Finished off Raiders of the Lost Ark with the wife last night. It’s very good fun, but the perspective makes some jumps hard in co-op mode, where the camera can’t move around to the best angle for you.

Back to the DS version. Created a Brawler, Knuckles. Put his three bonus points into Attack and he’s already doing a fair amount of damage at level one. I didn’t really want a Brawler, but I need a Brawler and a Warrior to unlock the Rogue, who I do want.
Phew.

Just twenty minutes or so in the Abusement Park, trying and failing to get a decent number of points. I think I’m missing something there.

Yes, the PSP version last night. For some catharsis, I did a level that’s quite hard for my team on the DS version and completed it with Oce, my lowest-level Prinny. It’s a lot smoother than the DS version, feels a bit more responsive and the wide screen view is lovely, but I did miss the map a bit. I think if I had to choose one version, it’d be the PSP version.

Just one level last night. At some point my wife and I switched characters and couldn’t work out how to change back. I’m Indy, she’s Marion, that’s how it is. Except last night. Tch.

Goodness, but the levels are long in this game. My wife and I played co-op for over two hours and only managed to do the first four levels. It’s good fun, though, if sometimes a bit fiddly when it comes to jumping and aiming.
I’d also like to work out why my wife got some of the Achievements for finishing levels, but not all of them. She was signed in the whole time we were playing together.
Strange.

I played for a few hours and blew up a lot of stuff. Got an Achievement for getting all the Allied outposts. The Chinese really, really hate me now.
