GTI Club+ Demo (PS3)

Fairly old arcade game HDed up for PS3. My type of thing. Fast, colourful, silly. I will certainly consider buying the full game, if it’s priced right. (Under a tenner.)

A loss to Ebbsfleet and a win against Southport in the league. We’re still top of the table, but our lead’s been cut to two points. Scary stuff.
We’re also through the first round of the FA Cup. We’re going to be playing Hampton & Richmond away.I won’t be too upset if we lose – the fewer games the better, I reckon, when you’re going for the league title.

Still top of the table and now a few points clear.
All is well right now, but we have a few long-term injuries and another one in the wrong place could send us hurtling towards oblivion.
I should mix up my tactics a little more to stop opposing teams getting used to my style of play, but I’m not much of a tactician. I tend to choose the best players to fit into a standard 4-4-2, only deviating when forced to by injury. The usual extent of my tactical changes is asking the players to play more attacking football now and again.

And we’re back to our winning ways and top of the table again.
Not bad with such a small squad.
According to my stats, I’ve bought twelve players for a total of £95,000 and sold six players for a total of £425,000. I’m great at transfers, me.

Down to second after a loss to AFC Wimbledon.
They were meant to be rubbish, but they tore us apart.

Oh, and now most of my players are unhappy because good players have left the club.
There wasn’t anything I could do!
And Trainer’s annoyed becuase I wouldn’t let him move to Carlisle. Carlisle! I’m doing him a favour!
Hopefully things will settle down the transfer window’s closed. I just know Trainer’s ging to hold a grudge, though. Idiot got himself sent off at the beginning of the last match. We were lucky to escape with a draw.

In other news, we’ve won four of our first five games and we’re first in the table.
Won’t last long with my team being decimated before my helpless eyes.

Well, we finished sixth in the end, one place of the play-offs. D’oh!
However, we also won the Setanta Shield and the fans and board were very happy with that, so my job is safe.
And I’ve got the wage bill down by, er, selling all my good players and replacing them with tramps I plied with gin.
This season should be interesting…
